Lunchbox Initiative

Lunchbox initiative agape little uni.

At Agape Little Uni., children are seen bringing their own lunchbox to school for their daily meals!

With this initiative, it teaches children independence and responsibility as they look after their belongings, making sure it is cleaned and kept after using each time. Every day, teachers train the children to wipe or wash their bowls and utensils after use. With this habit, even our younger children have learnt to pack and unpack their utensils/bowls after each use independently!

We would also want to inculcate the habit of bringing our own containers when getting takeaway food. Children learnt that they hold the autonomy to do their part to reduce waste and build sustainability at a young age. Parents have also worked closely with us in supporting our initiative by bringing their children to get takeaway food with their reusable containers from home! With this initiative, we aim to build empowered individuals, who does their part in environmental conservation from a young age.
