Earlier in March, the children of Agape Little Uni. @ Upper Serangoon Crescent participated in the World Water Day in conjunction with Public Utilities Board (PUB) – Singapore’s National Water Agency, on raising awareness on water conservation. The children participated in various activities and even met Water Wally and his sister Water Sally, the mascots of PUB! It was a week of fun-filled and meaningful experience!
The children had opportunities to learn about the importance and purpose of water conservation. Our Smart Toddlers to Nursery 2 classes carried out a cookery activity where they made blueberry jam and blue agar jelly, all about the colour – Blue! As for the Kindergarten 1 and 2 children, they conducted filtration experiment to learn about the process of creating potable water from non-potable water.
